Alternatively, take a Vaporetto water bus – number 1, 5.1 or 5.2 – to the Santa Maria Elisabetta stop on the Lido. The hotel is 3 minutes away by bus or taxi.

From the A4 (Milan-West/Trieste-East), A14 (Bologna-South) or A27 (Cortina-North) highways:

1. Enter ‘Tronchetto’ as the destination in your satnav.
2. Exit the highway at Venezia and follow the state road signs to Venezia.
3. Cross Liberty Bridge, turn right at the traffic lights, proceed down the ramp and turn right at the roundabout.
4. Proceed straight past the Tronchetto Island parking facilities to the Lido Car Ferry Service Dock.
5. Upon arrival at the Lido, turn right into Riviera S. Nicolò and follow it into Riviera S.M. Elisabetta and P.le S.M. Elisabetta.
6. Turn left onto Gran Viale.
7. Turn right into Lungomare Marconi and proceed to the Excelsior Venice Lido Resort at n°41.

The hotel has a private car garage with valet service, open from 8am to 12am. Cars, motorcycles and bicycles can take the car ferry from the Tronchetto terminal.

Ferry-boat tickets can be purchased online at https://avm.avmspa.it/, from the Venezia Unica sales point, or any authorised retailer.

The price for a vehicle does not include the driver or any passengers, who can purchase their tickets online from the Venezia Unica website, www.veneziaunica.it, through the free AVM Venezia Official App, or from the automatic ticketing machines on land and at the waterbus stops.
